Greenview in Aberdeen!

Hi all,

Greenview are delighted to be in Aberdeen to present findings from evaluation of the project back in April 2012. We're attending the Third Annual RCUK DIgital Economy 'All Hands' Conference: Digital Futures and presenting a paper tomorrow. It's a special place for us as last year we ran a workshop detailing our plans - now the app is finished, been critiqued, used, evaluated and forgotten about? Not for us anyway - Next month we're up for a EAUC Green Gown award (in the Greening ICT category) and then the findings of Greenview - notably the methodology for calculating 'normal' energy performance of public buildings and the limits of energy visualisation tools - are being applied to the EU smartspaces project and the EPSRC Gooddeeds project respectively. We're particularly excited about exploring (and critiquing) the participatory and collaborative aspects of the digital economy that smartphones and social media promises/affords/delivers? We'll see.

Anyway - for those at DE2012, we'll see you there tomorrow - for those sadly missing from the delights of Aberdeen, we'll be posting the slides tomorrow after the session.
